SNOW is forecast to fall throughout the day across Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham.
According to the Met Office, the snow will get heavier this afternoon and evening.
It will continue through the night until and into the early hours, before starting again tomorrow morning (Thursday).
Worcestershire Highways has sent out its gritters across the county.
UPDATE – National Highways issues severe weather warning and urges drivers to ‘only travel if absolutely necessary’.
It said: “We’re not seeing any significant accumulations of snow currently, however snow will persist today – we’ll continue to monitor conditions and are ready for further activity as necessary.”
All areas are predicted to get wintry showers on Friday.
