Met Office issues snow and ice warning for Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham

Tristan Harris 7th Jan, 2021 Updated: 7th Jan, 2021

THE MET OFFICE has issued a warning for snow and ice across Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham for tonight and tomorrow.

Temperatures have dropped below freezing point and the Met Office said snow looks likely to fall in the next few hours and tomorrow morning.

Travel could be disrupted with roads, pathways and cycle paths becoming treacherous for those who use them.

People are being urged to take care on their journeys when they are out and about, whether it is to and from work (if they cannot work from home), on their daily exercise session or for essential shopping trips, medical appointments or to care for the vulnerable.
