POLICE officers from the Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team say the message is finally getting across about too many people using the area’s beauty spots.
PCSO Ryan East visited the area last night and only people living in the area were up there.
He said: “Thank you to the majority of people who are abiding by Government advice.”
Officers had to issue a warning to people after the Clent Hills, Lickey Hills and Waseley Hills were becoming too overcrowded by people being out and about.
And on Sunday police were forced to cordon off the beauty spot at Nimmings Wood because of the number of people stopping to admire the view and hanging around.
The police said it was a decision they did not want to take.
