Bromsgrove Editorial 25th Nov, 2024   0

A REHOMING centre in Bromsgrove is offering visitors a chance to meet Santa and help pets at the same time this Christmas.

Blue Cross Bromsgrove will welcome Santa to its centre on Wildmoor Lane in Catshill on Sunday, December 15 with proceeds from the event going to help the charity’s work.

Families can visit Father Christmas from 10.30am to 3pm. Tickets cost £5 and include a gift from Santa. There will also be a raffle and refreshments on the day, along with a selection of Christmas cards to purchase.

Earlier in the month the team will also be hosting a Christmas afternoon tea at Bournheath Village Hall on Claypit Lane.

There will two sittings, at midday and 2pm on December 8, where sandwiches, cakes and plenty of tea will be served. There will also be a raffle and other stalls.

Laura Coveney, centre manager at Blue Cross in Bromsgrove, said: “We hope to see many local animal lovers at our Christmas events.

“Money raised will go towards helping us to help more cats, dogs and small animals in our care this festive season and beyond.”
