TWO PEOPLE were robbed in their car at the Walton Hill car park in Clent.
The incident happened between 12.15am and 12.45am this morning.
The victims were sat in their black Hyundai when they were attacked by six people wearing balaclavas.
The raiders used weapons to smash the windows of their car and steal a mobile phone and car keys. The victims sustained minor injuries. The attackers then made off from the scene in a red Volkswagen Polo and a blue Volkswagen Polo
Investigating officer Det Con Sean Green, from North Worcestershire CID, said: “This was an alarming unprovoked attack and an incredibly scary ordeal for the victims.
“We are continuing our investigation and whilst we appreciate this incident.”
He added there was at least another six or seven cars parked up in the car park at the time.
