A MAN in his 20s sustained potentially serious injuries in a crash on the M5 this morning between Bromsgrove and Quinton.
The collision, involving two cars and a lorry, happened at 6.37am on the northbound carriageway in between Junction 4 and Junction 3.
An ambulance was sent to the scene and a man in his 20s was given emergency treatment at the scene before being taken to the Major Trauma Unit at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A woman in her 50s was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.
Part of the carriageway was closed while the emergency services tended to the injured.
