A MAN was attacked with a knife on Shenley Lane yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened at 4.45pm.
After getting out of a silver car and attacking the victim who was on a motorbike he then got back into the car and drove off.
The victim, who was 27, suffered a serious knife injury to his back.
He has been detained by police in hospital on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply, bike theft and burglary.
Shenley Lane was cordoned off while enquiries continued.
