A MAN in his 20s was taken to hospital after a stabbing in south Birmingham last night.
The incident happened around 10.45pm in Frankley Beeches Road in between Northfield and Longbridge.
Police received reports of the stabbing and confirmed to the Standard a man in his 20s was taken to hospital where he remained with serious injuries.
The area is still cordoned off today.
Detectives are carrying out a range of enquiries including speaking to people in the area and analysing CCTV. Officers remain at the scene as the investigation continues.
Local officers are also patrolling the area for reassurance, and police have urged anyone with concerns to speak to officers.
