Man cut from vehicle after crash in Alvechurch

AN ELDERLY man had to be cut from a vehicle following a two-car crash in Alvechurch this afternoon.

It happened on Weatheroak Hill at the junction of Watery Lane at 2.50pm.

The man was physically trapped in the vehicle and an elderly woman was also injured.

Both received injuries not thought to be life threatening and received treatment from paramedics at the scene before being taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a precautionary measure.




West Mercia Police also attended.

The fire crew from Redditch also made sure both vehicles were safe.
