Man assaulted by burglars wearing high-vis jackets in Tardebigge

POLICE are searching for witnesses after a man was assaulted by two men wearing high-visibility clothing during an aggravated burglary in Tardebigge.

At about 6.50pm on Monday (January 23), a 37-year-old man was at his home in Tutnall Lane when he heard noises and opened the door to be confronted by the men.

The man was assaulted and the offenders stole keys to a BMW series 7 car, cash and jewellery.

The car, which was on the drive at the time, was not stolen.




One of the offenders was white, about 6ft tall, of slim build, with a yellow, high visibility long-sleeved body warmer and trousers, a blue and white bandana and white gloves.

The other man was also white, about 5ft 6ins tall, stocky build with had stubble on his face.


He was wearing orange high-visibility trousers, a grey hooded top with the hood pulled tight around his face and white gloves.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the locality yesterday afternoon or evening, or has any information which would help with their enquiries.
