A MAN was arrested after being found with an eight-inch knife in Northfield High Street.
Police were called to disorder on Sunday and used stop and search powers after detaining him.
They found the blade and took him I to custody for questioning.
West Midlands Police is currently running Operation Sceptre to get more weapons off the streets.
The campaign includes weapon sweeps of public places and the confiscation of knives.
