A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug-dealing following an incident in Frankley last night (Tuesday).
Officers from West Midlands Police’s Proactive Crime Team, Operation Skybridge, saw the suspected drug deal taking place around 10pm in Egghill Lane.
A search revealed more than 50 wraps of Class A drugs which were seized.
The man was then detained on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Officers from the team then carried out a search at an address in Westcroft Grove, Northfield, Birmingham, where a large amount of cash was seized along with further amounts of Class A drugs.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Op Skybridge officers continue to carry out proactive enforcement across Birmingham, where they target offenders and disrupt crime.
