BROMSGROVE Flower Club’s next event will take place between 2pm and 4.30pm on June 21 at All Saints Church Hall, Burcot Lane.
Guest speaker Lucy Allan will present her demonstration entitled ‘Memories’, and all her arrangements will be available to be won in a raffle afterwards.
Lucy is a flower arranging demonstrator in the South Midlands area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS). She has been demonstrating for five years and uses garden plant material in a modernist way so her arrangements will be of great interest.
Lucy, the wife of a farmer, also works for the NHS and competes in national shows where she has enjoyed success.
Last month’s demonstration ‘A Day at the Races’ by Julia Mitchell provided an informative, relaxing afternoon with members and visitors entertained throughout.
CJJ Jewellery and Accessories will make a welcome return with its jewellery, handbags and scarves stall and there will be a Bring and Buy stall.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Visitors and members are assured of a warm welcome, refreshments, and the opportunity to spend an uplifting afternoon watching a highly skilled floral designer at work arranging beautiful flowers.”
Admission is £6 for visitors or £2.50 for members.
