THERE was a lucky escape for drivers after a multiple car crash in Rubery on Saturday morning.
The three vehicles collided on Rubery Lane at the junction of Park Way.
Firefighters from Northfield’s Blue Watch, along with Northfield Police, an ambulance and a paramedic officer were all sent to the scene.
A woman – who was driving one of the cars – was treated for injuries not thought to be serious and she was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.
A second person was assessed and discharged.
The emergency services said, given the damage caused, it was fortunate no-one was seriously hurt.
