RESIDENTS across Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Rubery are being urge to get creative with the latest craze.
The Standard has teamed up with the Bromsgrove Cobbler to run a monthly Loom Band design competition between now and the end of the year.
All participants have to do is upload the pictures of their creations to our specially designated Facebook page and then, at the end of the month, the one deemed to be the best by the Cobbler Martin Connellan and Standard editor Tristan Harris will win an Extra Large Loom Band kit worth about £30, along with a few extras.
That includes 4,200 Loom bands, a Loom Band board, S-clips, C-clips, charms and more.
The winner of the competition must be able to pick up their prize from The Bromsgrove Cobbler and must bring along their design when they go to collect their prize.
Mr Connellan said: “I can’t believe how this craze has taken off and there are some fantastic designs out there – we want to see the best from this area.”
Those taking part need to log onto www.facebook.com/loombandcontest to upload a picture of their design.
The closing date for July’s entries is 12midnight on July 31.
