THE LINE-UP has been announced for this year’s bonfire and fireworks exravaganza at Bromsgrove’s Sanders Park, writes Ryan Hesketh.

Gates will open at 5pm on Saturday, November 3, with live music from 5.30pm, the bonfire being lit at 7pm and the firework display at 7.30pm.

Among those taking centre stage will be Roxy Music and David Bowie tribute band The Major Toms and local artists Jasmine Rawlings and Trigger.

The event is hosted in partnership with the Primrose Hospice which receives a donation from ticket sales.

Tickets are £14 for a family (two adults and two children) or £5 per adult and £3 per child with under twos going free.

They are available from the Primrose Hospice High Street shop and the council’s Bromsgrove District Council Customer Service Centre at Parkside.

Tickets will also be available from a stall on the High Street between 11am and 3pm on November 2 and 3.

On the night, visitors who have purchased tickets should enter through the normal entrance whereas anyone wishing to buy tickets on-the-door should go to the overspill car park.

Kidderminster Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from 5pm until 9pm on the night.

Visit www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/parking to find nearby town car parks.

Pet owners are reminded to keep pets indoors to avoid undue stress.

Contact the council’s events team at [email protected] or on 01527 534030 for more information or disabled parking onsite.
