LICKEY Festival is set to return for a second year with music, dancing and scarecrows.
Held at Lickey Hills Primary School on Sunday, June 11, the free event will kick off at 12pm with performances from SongStars Show Choir.
Visitors will have the chance to take part in a Barn Dancing workshop as well as a scarecrow competition.
There will also be pony rides, a hog roast and refreshments from the Women’s Institute and Tardebigge Cider.
The event was established and is funded by Lickey and Blackwell Parish Council.
Andrew Hodges, committee member for the festival, said: “We were delighted and inspired by the success of last year’s inaugural event held at the Trinity Centre and with the amount of support shown by the participants involved.
“The numbers through the door and the generous comments made sure a second event was on the cards.”
A four-mile walk will also start at 9.30am from the Trinity Centre and finish at the festival at about 12.15pm.
The festival is set to run until 4pm. Email [email protected] for more information.
