Lickey End crash involved car and an ambulance responding to a 999 call

A TWO vehicle crash involving a car and an ambulance responding to a 999 call happened yesterday afternoon in Lickey End.

The emergency vehicle, which was on blue lights, was heading along the Birmingham Road towards Bromsgrove around 3pm when the collision took place.

The female driver was discharged at the scene and the two paramedics suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.

An ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene and another ambulance was sent to attend the 999 call in Bromsgrove.
