A CHRISTMAS lights switch on event is returning to Longbridge for this year’s festive season.
Longbridge Shopping is delighted to announce the return of their annual Christmas Light Switch-On, set for tonight (Saturday, November 16).
This free celebration will see Longbridge Shopping come to life with holiday markets, performance artists, and special appearances.
Starting at 10 am, visitors can explore an outdoor Christmas Market, brimming with festive food, drinks, handcrafted gifts, and toys from local vendors.
In addition, children can take part in an exciting Book Hunt, discovering hidden festive books throughout the centre.
The festivities continue into the evening with live entertainment beginning at 4 pm.
Visitors will enjoy performances from Heavy Beat Brass Band, the St. James’s Catholic Primary School choir and whimsical walkaround entertainment from the Bouncing Snowmen, Wish Fairies,
Skating Presents, and more. Families will also have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and other festive characters, providing magical moments for the little ones.
Community spirit will be in full force, with the Air Ambulance, and the Longbridge Lions collecting donations, with local businesses joining in the holiday cheer.
At 6 pm, the event will culminate in a spectacular countdown to the grand Christmas Light Switch-On.
