BROMSGROVE District Council is asking people for their views on this year’s new-look festive Christmas lights switch-on event.
Hundreds of people turned out to celebrate the festive season at the switch-on which featured an impressive new laser show which cast a cacophony of colour over the High Street and could also be seen from further afield.
With the sparkling glow of the Primrose Hospice ‘Lights of Love’ Christmas tree and buzz of the Christmas Markets, families and friends gathered to enjoy an evening full of lights, cheer, and festive fun.
Live entertainment brought the town centre to life and there was plenty of seasonal spirit in the air on Saturday.
Now the council wants to hear from people so it can use the feedback to make next year’s event even better.
A spokesperson said: “Did you love the dazzling lasers? Was the atmosphere merry enough? What could we improve?”

Bromsgrove District Council leader, Coun Karen May, said: “It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate the start of Christmas in Bromsgrove.
“Events like this bring our community closer and spread joy during the festive season.
“Your feedback will help us keep making these celebrations even more magical for everyone.”
“The survey is open now, so don’t leave us in the dark! Let us know what you thought and help shape the future of Christmas events in Bromsgrove,” added the spokesperson.
