BUSINESS owners in Bromsgrove are invited to attend a conference highlighting the support programmes available.
The Redditch and Bromsgrove Skills and Business Conference is part funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and aims to showcase the help businesses can receive to facilitate growth, skills, recruitment and other support.
Bromsgrove based businesses are in line to benefit from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund investment from UK Government, administered by Bromsgrove District Council’s UKSPF Team and delivered through the Worcestershire Growth Hub.
Cabinet member for economic development and regeneration, councillor Sue Baxter, said: “Giving our local businesses the opportunity to grow and develop with the help of specialist funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a really important element of helping businesses in the area, whether they be big or small, to thrive in the area.”
The event, hosted by Worcestershire Growth Hub, is taking place on March 12 at Heart of Worcestershire College’s Redditch Campus from 1pm until 3.30pm.
Coun Baxter added: “Bromsgrove has such a range of local businesses who work and operate in the area, and it is excellent that funding and events like this gives them the opportunity to upskill themselves and their business practice.”
Business in attendance will have the chance to hear from representatives from the Worcestershire Growth Hub team, the Worcestershire County Council Economic Development team, and the Skills and Investment team.
There will also be the opportunity to learn about all the latest business grants and support which is on offer to Bromsgrove (and wider Worcestershire) based businesses, meet the programme leads and gain answers to any questions you may have.
