Kind-hearted Catshill football squad which has new kit donates its old one to team in Africa

KIND-HEARTED players from Catshill FC Under 11 Blues are donating their old kit to children in Africa who have no shirts, shorts and socks to play the beautiful game in.

The team had received a new kit thanks to generous sponsorship from Bromsgrove Body Repairs, The Car Lot, JB Engineering and Chiltern Railways and the squad sent their one to the charity Kit Aid.

Manager Mark Tomkinson said: “We asked the lads what they wanted to do with the old kit and after a few days this worthy charity was suggested and one of our parents sorted it all for us.

“We hope it helps underprivileged children in some of the world’s poorest places love football as much as we do. ”

Catshill U11 Blues were one of the winners of the Central Warwickshire Youth Football Winter Cups last season and are looking to add players to this successful squad.

Manager and coaches are FA Qualified and fully DBS checked.
