A KIND-HEARTED Bromsgrove School pupil has donated her long locks to the Little Princess Trust so it can be used to be make wigs for children or young people who had lost their hair through treatment for cancer and other illnesses.

Anaiya Sunner. 16. wanted to do something amazing for charity and had been thinking about cutting her hair to donate it.

After reading information on the Little Princess Trust’s website, she saw they were in short supply of 12-inch lengths of hair.

So she decided to let it grow for another year and last month had 15 inches of her hair cut to give.

The cost of making each wig is £550, so Anaiya set up a JustGiving page to raise these funds.

She had so far had £740 promised by family and friends.

Anaiya said: “I wanted to do something to help change somebody’s life and make them smile.

“A few family members and friends have had cancer and lost their hair.

“I learned how hard it had been for them and then I thought about children that also go through this and how difficult it must be for them”.

Visit justgiving.com/fundraising/anaiya-sunner to boost Anaiya’s fund-raising total further.”
