Kind-hearted Bromsgrove girl Chloe to lose her locks for the Little Princess Trust

A BROMSGROVE girl is getting her hair cut for the Little Princess Trust, writes Abi Cook.

Chloe Silvers will lose her long locks next Saturday, September 21, to raise funds and to donate her hair to children who have lost their hair through treatment for life-threatening illnesses.

The event will take place at Sculpture hair salon in Malbrook.

Chloe was inspired by her aunt Vicky, who was diagnosed with cancer and began to lose her hair.

This was the first time she realised what cancer was and the devastation it caused.

Since then Chloe has had a greater understanding of the illness and the TV adverts about children with cancer who had lost their hair prompted her to take action. She was keen to do something to help.

When she found out she could donate her hair to make wigs, she jumped at the chance.

Chloe’s mum Amy Wiley said: ‘The thought of people using her hair to make wigs for children fills Chloe with joy because she knows how much it would mean for a child with cancer to have nice hair and to feel good.

“She is such a kind-hearted and caring young girl and all of her family are beyond proud of her.

“The fact our little princess wants to help others feel like princesses means the world to us.”

Chloe has so far raised £115 of her £200 target.
