YOUNGSTERS at Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School have spent the past fortnight taking part in a 10-minute daily Disney-themed physical play activity.
The 10-minute shake-up campaign uses popular Disney characters alongside recognisable Change4Life animations to encourage children to take part in short bursts of exercise.
These exercises help them reach the recommended 60 minutes or more of physical activity needed each day, with Change4Life and Disney aiming to inspire children to get active using characters and stories as encouragement.
Youngsters took part in games based on Captain America and Toy Story, with children making their own shields and Woody figures.
The children took home copies of the games to get their families involved in fitness activities and every youngster
receiving certificates at the end of the challenge.
