CHILDREN from Jellybabies Nursery at Longbridge Methodist Church found out about people less fortunate than themselves and raised £40 when they held events for Comic Relief.
The youngsters had funny hair dos created for the occasion and came dressed in back to front clothes and odd socks, which proved lots of fun.
Nursery manager Jacqueline Walker said: “Our children learnt valuable life skills and gained understanding and empathy for others in the world.
“Our older children learnt about a little girl called Emma who lives in Kenya, and compared Emma’s life in Kenya with the children’s in the UK.”
Emma had a tough start in life as her family did not always have enough money for food.
