A BROMSGROVE company are helping those in need this Christmas by acting as a drop off location for a local foodbank.
Howden Insurance Bromsgrove will be accepting food donations at their office – 6-8 High St, Bromsgrove – which will then be donated to and distributed by Catshill Baptist Church Foodbank on Milton Road.
The church will be handing out food parcels to those in need this Christmas period starting on December 13.
Items which are most needed include tins of fruit, vegetables, soup, rice pudding, meat, pasta sauce, ham, tuna and salmon.
Donations of Christmas or sponge puddings, cheese, cranberry sauce, fruit juice, biscuits, chocolate, crisps, fruit cake, yule log, hot chocolate, selection boxes, and gravy granules are also sought after.
A Howden Insurance spokesperson said on Facebook: “If you are passing the office and would like to help, your donation would be greatly appreciated.”
