IN PICTURES - Wythall community turns out to pay its respects on Remembrance Sunday

WYTHALL came together today to remember the fallen at the annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service.

The moving service was held at St Mary’s Church, Shawhurst Lane.

The parade then journeyed from the church to the War Memorial on Alcester Road and was led by Kings Norton Youth Marching Band.

Coun Adam Kent, who lay a wreath on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, said he was ‘honoured’ to be part of proceedings to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifices of those who served.

Refreshments were served at Wythall Royal British Legion after the parade.
