THE ANNUAL Catshill Easter Trail took place in the village on Good Friday.

The event was sponsored by Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council and was Organised by Catshill Community Event Organisers Coun Shirley Webb and Phil Lacey.

The event began at Catshill Methodist, following a trail at each of the churches in the village including Catshill Baptist, Christ Church and The Welcome Hall. Attendees were spoilt for choice with lots of activities to take part in.

The Final Stop was Catshill Village Hall (CVH), where every one was greeted by Elsa and the Easter Bunny.

All the children received an Easter treat from the bunny.

Volunteers from CVH provided hot dogs, fish finger sandwiches and drinks and local ice-cream man Brett’s Whippy served up a treat and was there for the duration of the event

A spokesperson for the event said: “Expecting roughly 200 people, we were overwhelmed when a headcount of over 400 children was received.

“It was lovely to see the entire village bustling with people having fun and all the volunteers working hard at the check point.”

The next FREE community event, again sponsored by Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council and organised by Catshill Community Events is the Community Birthday Party celebrating 131 years of CVH – Catshill Village Hall, a fun filled day for all ages with singers, mascots, food, bouncy castles and so much more.
