HUNDREDS of people turned out for Bromsgrove’s annual St George’s Day celebration which took place on the High Street on Saturday.
There were a variety of activities taking place, including performances from international singer Lucy Williams, Artrix Songstars Choir and Blackwell Concert Band.

There was also a traditional Punch and Judy show, circus skills, performances from Steve Kaos and classic British cars.
Steve and Kathy Cashmore were there in their classic red MG convertible.
They said: “We think it’s a fantastic celebration – we come here every year.
“More people should celebrate England’s patron saint.”
George Cross flags were also given out to families and there was a variety of organisations which had stalls there, including the Bromsgrove Society, Keep Bromsgrove Beautiful and The Blue Cross.
