Hundreds expected at today's Rubery Festival

HUNDREDS of people are expected to descend on St Chad’s Park tomorrow for the annual Rubery Festival.

The event will start with a parade and then feature plenty of live entertainment with the winners of Rubery’s Got Talent taking to the stage throughout the day.

Among them will be Emily Badger, Isabella Giorrio-Jones, young guitarist J Sheppard and Bethany Annie-Mae.




The event, from midday to 5pm, will also feature Tommy the T-Rex, children’s rides, animals and birds, a tabletop sale with stalls from charities and community groups, a tombola and food and drink.
