How can Rubery be improved? - Residents can have their say at virtual meeting

Bromsgrove Editorial 18th Mar, 2021   0

PEOPLE living in Rubery can attend an online community meeting from 6pm to 7.30pm tomorrow evening (Friday, March 19) to have their say on how the area and community can be improved.

It will give residents the chance to speak to partners and representatives for Rubery and, Bromsgrove District Council says, it will be the start of an ongoing conversation about how to make the village better.

Bromsgrove District Council chief executive Kevin Dicks, local ward representatives and partners will listen to concerns, important issues and discuss how everyone can work together for the area.

He added: “We are determined that the current Covid restrictions don’t get in the way of such important community engagement, so we decided to hold it virtually.

“Indeed, we hope even more people will attend as online get togethers are a safe way to do so and we want to want to get as many views as possible to reflect the local dynamic.”

People should visit bromsgrove.gov.uk/ruberyonlinemeeting to register or, if they are unable to attend, to give their views.

The event will be recorded, made available to view online and a summary will be included on the consultations page.
