House in Hagley severely damaged by fire

A HOUSE in Hagley was severely damaged at 5am this morning when a massive fire broke out.

Five crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Fire Service – including Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Hadens Cross, Evesham and Wyre Forest – attended.

A dog was led to safety and, miraculously, no-one was injured in the blaze at the single-storey building in Wassell Grove lane..

Firefighters extinguished the blaze with water jets.
