THERE was plenty of hot drinks, cake and toast on offer at Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School’s annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.

The event – held at the nursery’s base at Longbridge Methodist Church – raised £84.50 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Nursery manager Jacqueline Walker said it brought people of all ages in the community together.

“It was a lovely atmosphere and great to see all ages from seven weeks old to 84 years coming together for such a worthy cause.”

During the week the children learnt about the work of Macmillan nurses and how they helped people less fortunate than themselves.
