NORTHFIELD’S Home Bargains will close its doors on Christmas Eve – but only so it can be refurbished before being re-opened with a brand new look in the spring.
The Standard was contacted by concerned shoppers who had heard the store would be shutting.
One said: “I just can’t understand it – it’s a great store and it’s always busy every time I go in there.”
We contacted the company and was assured it was just so the shop can be revamped.
A Home Bargains spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our Northfield store will be closing for a short period of time to undergo refurbishment.
“The store will be closed from December 24 and will re-open in Spring 2022 with a brand new look.”
