Hit and run in Hollywood saw dog walker hurt and his pet injured so badly it had to be put to sleep

A PEDESTRIAN was hit by a vehicle in Hollywood last Friday (May 12).

The incident, involving a man in his 50s who was walking his dog and a silver vehicle, happened at 6.04pm.

The car, which is unknown,

The pedestrian received injuries to his foot and sadly his dog, who received serious injuries, was put to sleep.




Investigations are ongoing but police are keen to speak to anybody who may have witnessed the incident or who may have been in the area at the time.
