HIGH VALUE jewellery was stolen during two burglaries in Barnt Green on Friday.
Between 4pm and 4.45pm two properties on Edgeworth Drive were broken into and high value jewellery was taken from both.
Officers who are investigating want to speak to anybody who may have any information which would help with enquiries.
Insp Gurjit Singh said: “We understand the concern these incidents bring to a community like Barnt Green, and I ask that the public report any suspicious activity they may have seen yesterday, however small that may be.
“Working together puts us in a much stronger position to stamp out these kinds of offences.
“Officers will be carrying out additional patrols to deter further offences and investigate the burglaries.
“We are here to support the local community in Barnt Green, and should you want crime prevention advice I ask you to contact your Safer Neighbourhood Team who can provide advice.”
