BROMSGROVE will be able to have its say on proposals for around 430 homes in the latest phase of the Perryfields development.
Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is holding a public consultation for the plans to build the homes on land off Perryfields Road, which is part of phase two of the development.
Plans would see 32 per cent of the proposed new homes be affordable.
This comes just a week after Bromsgrove District Council’s planning committee refused the reserved matters application for the Perryfields development over the controversial spine road.
Taylor Wimpey’s public consultation opens on Tuesday, July 18, and concludes on July 30.
A public exhibition will be held between 3pm and 7pm on Tuesday in the Fairfield Suite at the Holiday Inn.
Outline planning permission for the development of up to 1,300 homes was approved in August 2021.
The outline permission also included an extra care facility, a school and a local centre.
Helen Chard, Taylor Wimpey North Midlands’ land and planning director, said: “Gathering the views of the local community is a vital stage in the development process and we are keen to hear what residents living near the site think of our current proposals.”
