Have your say on council budget in Bromsgrove

RESIDENTS across Redditch and Bromsgrove are being invited to tell the borough and district councils about the services which are important to them as part of the budget setting process for the year ahead.

In this latest round of budget consultation, Redditch Borough Council wants to know how important its three priorities – economy and regeneration, green, clean and safe area and community and housing – are to residents and which other areas it should invest in.

As well as the survey being available online, with paper copies available in the library and customer services centre, a focus group will also be held from 6pm until 8pm on December 10.

People can email: [email protected] and put ‘Redditch Budget Focus Group’ in the subject line to register their interest for the session.

Coun Harvey added: “We want our residents to be involved in how their money works for them so are reaching out to as many people as possible. Please take a few minutes to take part.”

Bromsgrove residents are being asked to comment on economic development (including supporting businesses, skills and town and district centres), environment (such as waste and recycling, biodiversity and wildlife, air quality and climate change mitigation), housing and infrastructure – the latter includes delivering the Local Plan, parks and open spaces and active travel.

The survey is available online, with paper copies available in the library and customer services centre from this week.

A budget focus group takes place from 7pm until 8.30pm on December 11.

Residents can email [email protected] and put ‘Bromsgrove Budget Focus Group’ in the subject line to register their interest for the session.
