THE OWNER of Shooting 4 Fun has set himself an ambitious £2,000 ‘target’ when he holds a fund-raising event for the Primrose Hospice on June 23, writes Charlotte Mitchell.

Mark Treverton is offering 90 minutes of activities for ages 18 above at the Oaklands Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Hanbury, including archery, laser clay shooting, axe throwing and outdoor laser tag. Tickets are £20 per person with £15 of each one going to the hospice.

Mark hopes, along with a raffle on the day, the event will raise more than £2,000 for the cause.

The Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) member and registered clay shooting safety officer will lead the hourly sessions.

“There will be a tremendous buzz on the day as we rotate small groups of people across all the activities.

“It will be pretty ‘full-on’ for the organising team and lots of fun for all those who take part.”

Amy Flemming, Primrose hospice fund-raiser, added: “This event is a wonderful opportunity for people to enjoy a range of fun activities and raise money for Primrose.”

Mark and Cat Phillips from the Primrose Hospice also joined us on this week’s podcast.

Hourly slots between 12pm and 3pm on June 23 can be booked by emailing Mark at [email protected] or by calling Mark on 01527 575141.
