PUPILS in year four at Hanbury First School were among the first children to get out on a trip since Covid restrictions were lifted.
The class went for a day of bell boating at Fladbury Paddle Club where they were taught all they needed to know by an instructor before heading out onto the River Avon.
A spokesperson for the school said: “They had a wonderful time on the first school outing we’ve enjoyed for a very long time.
“They were also lucky to be one of the first schools to go on an off-site visit in over a year.
“The children have missed going on trips so we’re delighted they had such a great day.”
