A HAGLEY photographer has been shortlisted for an award celebrating female photographers for International Women’s day.

Louise Norris’s wildlife photograph earned her a place in the top ten at ‘The Beauty of Black and White’ competition hosted by printing company CEWE.

Submissions for the competition remain open until the end of March and the winner will receive a £100 voucher to spend on CEWE products alongside a gift from Lensbaby.

Four runners up will receive a £50 CEWE product voucher.

A photo expert at CEWE UK, said: “Championing inclusivity in the photography community is something we feel very passionate about.

“Photography is for everyone – from professionals to hobbyists, to wildlife and portrait – there is something for all, which is the beauty of photography.

“The competition in partnership with SheClicks is a wonderful way for us to highlight the amazing work of female photographers and give them a platform to share their favourite photographs.

“This International Women’s Day, we hope you join us in celebrating the beautiful work submitted by so many talented women to the competition so far.

“We’ve loved seeing the stories that have been told through the black and white theme.”
