THE PRINCIPAL of Hagley Catholic High School congratulated the ‘very deserving’ cohort of year 13 students for achieving wonderful A level results.
Mr Hodgson said, in addition to coping with the demands of the pandemic, the group had shown great fortitude in applying themselves to their studies and the rigorous assessment process,
“The success is down to the hard work of the students and the high quality A level teaching embedded at the school.”
Vice-principal and sixth form director Mrs Morris said as well as the fantastic academic achievements, everyone was equally proud of the well-rounded citizens they had become.
“We look forward to seeing their positive impact on wider society as they develop and progress their future education and careers.”
Mrs Horan, Catholic Senior Executive Leader (CEO) of Emmaus Catholic MAC, paid tribute to the hard work of both staff and students over many years.
Being part of the Emmaus family since their primary school years had enabled students to flourish and achieve in an environment where teaching and learning was consistently high and teachers really knew the students.
All the staff wished the departing students well for the future.
