Gun and drugs recovered from Longbridge house following police raid

A REVOLVER and Class A drugs were recovered from a house in Longbridge following a police raid.

Officers executed a search warrant on Walnut Way on Tuesday (August 22), where the gun was found in a kitchen cupboard.

There was also counterfeit cash, two BB guns and Class B drugs discovered during the search.

A man aged 25 and 19 year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of firearm and drug offences and have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

The warrant formed part of the force’s on-going crackdown on weapons and drugs.
