SEVERAL litter-picks have taken place in Catshill over the past few weeks and Coun Shirley Webb has been working with Catshill First, Catshill Middle and Chadsgrove Schools.
As well as the litter-picking, plantings have been held as part of the ‘Catshill in Bloom’ and ‘Catshill Growing’ campaigns and the Spar shop in the village has lent its support. The children from Chadsgrove have also worked hard tidying their planters.
Coun Webb said she could not thank the local schools enough for their hard work and dedication.
“The children really enjoy working in the community and residents are grateful for the children’s hard work in keeping our village looking beautiful.”
