THERE will be a community clean on the Oakalls and Parklands estate tomorrow.
The litter pick was first organised three years ago for the Clean for the Queen campaign which ran in June 2016 to coincide with Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.
Since then residents have held an annual spring litter pick, to help tidy up the estate.
Whilst the litter collected is mainly crisp packets, plastic bottles, sweet papers and dog waste, more unusual items found thrown into bushes have included a child’s empty rucksack, a builder’s bucket, a deflated football and a kettle.
