TWO LITTER-PICKS will take place this weekend – one each in Rubery and Frankley.
Tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am people can meet at the Lickey Hills Visitor Centre for a litter-pick which has been organised as part of the Great British Spring Clean.
Litter-picking takes place throughout the year at the country park, thanks to volunteers and staff.
Gloves, litter-pickers and bags will be provided and people are being urged to wear sensible footwear.
Then on Sunday at 1pm a tidy-up will take place in Frankley.
Participants should meet outside Greggs at the Arden Road shops.
The event has been organised by the New Frankley Parish Council.
