THE BROMSGROVE brain injury charity Headway is urging people to grab a place at its Halloween-themed fun run on Sunday, October 30.
All proceeds from the charity will go towards Headway’s brain injury services which helps improve the lives of brain injury survivors and their families in the local area.
Julie Wedgbury, Communications & Fundraising Manager at Headway Birmingham & Solihull, said: “This is a family-friendly event and so will be aiming for Halloween fun, rather than fright.”
The Halloween Fun Run can be walked, jogged, and raced and is suited for runners and walkers of all abilities.
Participants can choose from doing a 5k route or a single loop of 2.5k.
Prizes will be awarded for the best Halloween costumes on the day, and scary face painting, a Halloween-themed raffle and refreshments will be on offer.
The event will be taken place at Cofton Park in Longbridge at 11am.
Entry into the event is £10 for adults and £5 for under 12s.
