RESIDENTS who have not yet had their Covid vaccine can ‘grab a jab’ at a walk-in clinic at Bromsgrove District Housing Trust’s family fun day in Charford.

The event takes place at the Recreation Ground in Lyttleton Avenue from 12.30pm to 2pm on Wednesday, August 25.

The clinic is being delivered by St John Ambulance, offering doses for those aged 18 and over and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine for people who have had their first at least more than eight weeks ago.

All adults are now eligible to receive the vaccine, and this is a simple, convenient, and easy way to have it.

BDHT’s Director of Housing and Communities, Graeme Anderson, said: “Our family fun days are really well attended so we hope we are making it easier for those people who struggle to get to vaccination centres, for whatever reason, to get their jab.”

Bromsgrove District Council Leader, Coun Karen May, said: “While we are the right side of Freedom Day now, we still need to remain vigilant and keep each other safe.

“This latest clinic is great to make grabbing a jab more accessible and I hope as many people as possible visit it – and enjoy the fun event too.”

Booking is not needed, people can just drop in.

Those who cannot make it but want to find out more about the vaccine should visit nhs.uk/CovidVaccine
