FUNDRAISING pages have been set up to support two households after a devastating fire destroyed their home in Bromsgrove.

The large blaze broke out at a property in King Edward Road on Friday and saw four people, including a woman, a man and two children rushed to hospital where they were found to have minor injuries.

Emergency services, including Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue, responded to the blaze, which left the family homeless.

Now two GoFundMe pages have been set up

Emma Watkins, the sister of the woman in the second house wheich the fire spread to, has launched a fundraising page to help cover the costs of accommodation and support the family as they try to rebuild their lives.

So far, £230 has been raised toward the £1,600 target.

And Mikki Byrne has set up the other page to raise funds for his aunt and her children who lost all their clothes and belongings in the blaze.

On that page he said: “They now have to start a fresh.

“Any donations to help towards getting them back on their feet would be highly appreciated.

“This has come as a complete shock and the only good thing to come out of it is everyone involved made it out safe but only with the clothes on their backs.

“I understand everyone is struggling at the minuet so if your unable to donate please could you just share this post so it reaches as many people as possible.”

An appeal for clothes was also made on the Love Sidemoor Facebook page and the community rallied around to help.
